The lineage of these parameters is a long one. The first parameter is from my fractal #000055 - 2D Version The second parameter set is a tweak that =Topas2012 made of parameters passed down from *HalTenny via *CMDRCHAOS Here's =Topas2012's image: Dinofractaurus
I didn't understand what a hybrid MB3D fractal really was until *moonhigh was kind enough to send me this tutorial Fractal Genetics- by *phoenixkeyblack I strongly recommend any MB3D aficionado to try their hand at hybrids. To date, about 70% of my attempts fail outright, 20% generate uninteresting results but the remaining 10% are worth it.
Full parameters from my portion of this fractal are:
Great, but if the purpose was to 'sign' the parameters - so it would always be there no matter who grabbed them, well, now it fails as anyone can edit out the text! I ought to be encoded in along with a checksum so that editing the params invalidates the parameters. But, luckily, I don't really care - or rather if I post params I do it understanding that they're free for the taking - no restrictions.
yeah I'm with you... BUT... it may turn up in a parameter search ... definitely not a security measure in that form.. And if people are cpopy an azz load of parameters, then it gives them a clue as to where they got it.. or who to credit.. that was really more my purpose in asking...
