The Roses of Heliogabalus

This fractal was an old dIFS work I dug up and re-rendered using the Monte Carlo renderer.
The luminosity and reflections off the surfaces reminded me of the work of Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, a favorite artist of mine  I highly recommend doing an image search for his art.

I was interested to see how the MC renderer handled dIFS formula.  I stopped processing it after I could not see any difference between subsequent passes - 0.08 and 0.07 max noise - which this is.
